mark the date in your calendar

Rivendell is a stunning place, an old vicarage in the quiet village of High Hurstwood near Crowborough, with comfortable beds, a dedicated shrine room and extensive grounds, including its very own private woodland.

We've decided to follow up our exploration of  the Brahmaviharas with a look at the Anapanasati practice - it's the advanced version of the Mindfulness of Breathing in sixteen stages that take you all the way to Enlightenment - can't promise we'll go that far in a weekend but we can promise a chance to take your practice deeper and explore some elements of Insight work.
Bookings will be opening as soon as Vidyaketu does his magic thing with the button below....

  • Early Bird price (book before March 3rd)  £130
  • Full price £140.
  • Concessions £70.

The retreat price includes all your food and accommodation for the weekend. Please be aware that unless you have particular reasons, you will be in a shared room.

 Other Retreats .....
... retreats are great way for people to take their practice deeper and to get to know one another better.   Of course there are many other retreats available run by members of the wider movement at centres around the country and abroad.

The Going On Retreat website provides you with easy access to retreat information for various UK Buddhist Retreat Centres.

Each retreat centre runs a wide variety of retreats throughout the year exploring Buddhism, Buddhist meditation and yoga. Some centres also run specialised events which promote well being such as tai chi, shiatsu, massage, and the arts.

GoingOnRetreat.com is a collective venture set up by the UK Buddhist Retreat Centres run by the Triratna Buddhist Community which is dedicated to communicating the ancient teachings of the Buddha in the modern world
.
